I'd like to propose the following replacement for the MDC:Copyrights page. Purposes are to make it clearer and to document how to put in an Alternate License Block.

The Devmo Wiki has been prepared with the contributions of many authors, both within and outside the Mozilla Foundation. It is available primarily under the terms of the Creative Commons: Attribution-Sharealike license. Code samples are available under the terms of the MIT License.

It is our intention to make the entire Wiki available under these licenses, however, from time to time there may be entries of the Wiki that are covered by different licenses. If a page is under a license other than the licenses noted above, it must be indicated at the bottom of each page by way of an Alternate License Block. (This is a block between <div class="copyright"> and </div> markup tags, and must contain the copyright notice and the terms of the license under which you wish to make it available.)

If you wish to contribute to this Wiki, we ask that you make your documentation available under the Attribution-Sharealike license, and your code samples available under the MIT License. If you add to this Wiki without specifying an Alternate License Block in your contribution, we assume that you license your contribution under the licenses noted above.

Copyright for contributed materials remains with the author unless the author assigns it to someone else.
